Good morning, Dubuque.

Kenneth Moore (51) fired a gun during an argument and was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after Dubuque Police arrested him in August 2023 following a report of shots fired on Stafford Street, with his 11 prior felony convictions barring him from owning a gun.

The Figge Art Museum announced it will display 10 masterpieces on loan as part of the National Gallery of Art’s 'Across the Nation' Lending Initiative — a celebration of America’s 250th birthday featuring works dating from 1537 to 1700 by artists including Lucas Cranach the Elder, Anthony van Dyck, Frans Hals, and Louis Vallée. The exhibition, titled 'The Golden Age: Featuring Northern European Artworks from the Collection of the National Gallery of Art,' runs from June 28th through April 4th.
