- ➤ Dubuque Parks and Recreation invites residents to review the draft Y(O)ur Story Comprehensive Plan online and provide feedback (input accepted until Jan. 5); the plan shared with the City Council on Monday proposes upgrading swimming pools into outdoor aquatic centers, adding bike paths, and enhancing Eagle Point Park. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Wednesday, Dubuque Fire Department responded to a fuel spill at Dubuque Regional Airport where about 400 gallons of Avgas 100LL were contained in a designated area after nearby buildings were evacuated (crews then set up a 150-ft exclusion zone while monitoring air quality). KWWL

- ➤ The Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark in Dubuque has new ownership after a sheriff’s sale on Tuesday, Dec. 9 when Riddle Group purchased it for $7.5 million. Dubuque will work with the group as it plans to renovate the rooms and water features over the next one to two years. Radio Dubuque
