- ➤ Holy Family Catholic Schools reached its first-tier goal in the Inspiring Spaces campaign by raising $25 million and will break ground in the spring on projects such as a 750-seat auditorium and athletic facility upgrades — school officials said they will soon start raising the final $5 million needed to fully fund these improvements — ensuring transformational changes to the Central Campus. - ➤ Clarke University in Dubuque will cut 13 under-enrolled academic programs and about 35 to 37 positions at the end of the 2025 to 2026 academic year to address falling enrollment, rising costs, and financial pressures—faculty advisors will help students in affected programs with transition plans. Nearly 90 percent of current students will not see changes in their academic plans—details on which programs will close were not provided. KCRG
- ➤ Bryant Elementary in Dubuque was named a 2025 Blue Ribbon School after being chosen from 200 high performing contenders for its strong academic scores in reading, writing, graduation rates and attendance—one of four schools in the state to earn the honor. Radio Dubuque
