- ➤ On Monday, Dubuque St. Vincent de Paul started its Urban Farm project in partnership with the John Deere Foundation to supply fresh produce to the Voucher Center Food Pantry — the project uses a 1,300-square-foot greenhouse with both traditional and hydroponic growing methods and involves Back2Work students in its construction and upkeep. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Dubuque Drug Taskforce reported that a collection event last Saturday gathered nearly 189 pounds of medications and 139 pounds of sharps, with an additional 202 pounds collected at the Law Enforcement Center drop box from April until now.
