  • Residents in Dubuque raised over $78K in the Walk to End Alzheimer's on October 4 at American Trust River's Edge Plaza—nearly 300 people joined and the team We’re ALZ In, led by Wanda Hillers, contributed over $28K while fundraising continues through the end of the year.  KWWL
  • The City of Dubuque Planning Services Department asked residents for ideas to design an outdoor space in the historic Millwork District—an online survey remains open until October 12th and public input sessions are planned for November and December.  Radio Dubuque

CULTURE NEWS

  • Iowa is welcoming spooky season with top haunted attractions that offer both thrills and family fun—sites include Hillside House of Hell in Glenwood, Eclypse in Iowa City, Slaughterhouse in Des Moines, and even a Dubuque Trunk or Treat event. Visitors will plan their road trip to experience rides, themed games, and food events scheduled throughout October.  WJOD
