- ➤ The University of Dubuque celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Chlapaty Center for Innovation today—a 75,000-square-foot, five-story facility with engineering labs, innovation arenas, and flexible learning spaces—and it will open in 2028 thanks to a $35 million gift from Joseph and Linda Chlapaty.
