- ➤ A motorcycle crash on Friday at 2:35 p.m. at the intersection of Bluff and Ninth streets injured a Dubuque rider aged 65, who was taken to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital after being hit by a driver from Montfort (Wis.) cited for running a red light. Radio Dubuque

- ➤ High Noon recalled two production lots of its Beach Variety vodka seltzers after they were packaged with labels for Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink—misleading consumers about the product, which contains alcohol. The affected packs were distributed between July 21 and 23 in several Midwestern states and could have reached local stores, even though Iowa was not on the official list. WJOD
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Dubuque County Conservation invites local landowners to join its Mowing to Monarchs program—turning traditional lawns into native pollinator habitats with prairie plantings that help monarch butterflies and other wildlife. The program, which has supported nearly 500 projects since 2020, requires a three-year stewardship and a well-drained site, and applications are open until August 26. KWWL
