- ➤ A 6-year-old Dubuque boy riding an electric scooter was hit by a vehicle on Thursday evening in the 2100 block of Jackson Street—he was taken to MercyOne Medical Center after the driver, Michael Ogdon, failed to see him due to a parked vehicle blocking his view. Radio Dubuque

- ➤ Loras College in Dubuque honored James E. Collins by naming him President Emeritus as he ended his 21-year presidency. College Board Chair Rich Scalise said he will mentor future leaders and join special projects—efforts that continue to shape the college's future. KWWL
