Iowa residents can view a rare blue moon this weekend with peak illumination at 3:45 a.m. Sunday and optimal viewing after 8:40 p.m. Saturday plus clear skies in eastern Iowa support the sighting.

Clarke University allocated $639,451 to its women's basketball teams in 2024, falling $73,679 short of the state average as reported by the U.S. Department of Education.
