- ➤ The Iowa DNR says black bear sightings are increasing as young males from Wisconsin and Minnesota begin roaming Iowa's northeast areas, including rugged parts of the Driftless. Residents are advised to secure food and trash as wildlife+activity grows. WJOD
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Iowa Department of Transportation will begin repairs on the Julien Dubuque Bridge on Monday, June 1, with staged lane closures — including full closures in July — that will force drivers to detour on U.S. Highway 20 and prompt the East Dubuque City Council's one-time assistance program for businesses.
