- ➤ Police said on May 13 that a fight behind the bar at 1918 Saloon on 1st Avenue West in Cascade led to the arrest of 38-year-old Daniel Henneberry, who punched a bartender and hit him with a bottle while a group refused to leave, leaving two men with head injuries—cellphone video captured the event. - ➤ The City of Dubuque will open a new data center later this month—costing $1.8 million—that will process data for mapping systems, traffic signals and sewer and water pipe monitoring while sharing its building with a preschool, daycare and 911 communications center, as non-profit Dubuque Initiatives prepares the site to enhance local services. - ➤ Iowa Representative Randy Feenstra of Hull, serving his third term, filed paperwork on May 13 to run for governor in 2026+ he defeated longtime Congressman Steve King in a 2020 primary. Earlier on Monday, State Auditor Rob Sand announced his campaign while Governor Kim Reynolds said in April she would not seek re-election+ intensifying the governor's race. Radio Dubuque
