- ➤ Dubuque Police arrested three people after a large fight in the parking lot of Liquor, Tobacco, & Gas on the 14-hundred block of Central around 8:20 Monday night; the suspects Desmond Altman aged 45, Arkeesha Neely aged 44, and Anthony Crowder aged 52 face riot charges with Crowder also indicted for going armed with intent and willful injury. - ➤ The Dubuque City Council passed an ordinance last night to fine residents up to $750 for feeding or harassing bears and for not removing bird feeders or trash when asked by police or conservation officials—Conservation Director Brian Preston said the rule is meant to prevent bears from becoming dependent on human food as sightings are expected to rise.
