CRIME NEWS

  • A 27-year-old Dubuque County man, Kyle Kutsch, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one year in prison for causing a crash on November 5th that seriously injured him and 47-year-old Rebecca Scherbring in Dubuque—he was also ordered to pay nearly $21,000 in restitution.  Radio Dubuque

  • Public feedback led the Iowa Board of Education to approve a second draft of science standards on Thursday that reinstated language on climate change and biological evolution for K-12 education.
