- ➤ Jared Deutch will become the new principal of Dubuque Senior High School starting July 1 after school board approval. He currently serves as an assistant principal at Hempstead High and will replace Brian Howes, who is set to become the district's executive director of secondary education. Radio Dubuque

- ➤ Dubuque City Council approved a plan to add lights to the 153-year-old Clock Tower, which will be illuminated for the first time when work is expected to finish by Independence Day+ officials are working with Dubuque Forward to finalize the details while residents express excitement. KWWL
