- ➤ John Deere is adding workers as 21 employees return to Dubuque Works while 20 workers plus 8 others are set to rejoin at Davenport and Coffeyville sites, making 324 U.S. employees since January. - ➤ Dubuque Community Schools are planning to expand Roosevelt Middle School for more students and close Jefferson at the end of the 2027 to 2028 school year, with a May 11 public hearing to discuss $30 million in bonds, and the board approved a $185.5 million budget with a lower tax rate.
