- ➤ Hodge, a Dubuque-based material handling company, announced it will take over the Ryder Systems transportation facility in Waterloo in late July — keeping current staff with retention bonuses as part of its expansion plan. Leaders said more locations may follow. KWWL

- ➤ Today, the Archdiocese of Dubuque will reveal its new pastorate plan (Journey in Faith initiative) that outlines priest assignments, revised weekend Mass locations, and an interim schedule from July 15 through Jan. 15, 2027, with full implementation set to begin in January 2027 through 2028. - ➤ Clarke University eliminated its long-term debt after receiving a $5 million gift from alumna Honmai (Lam) Goodman '58 and her husband, Joseph, which eased a major financial burden.
