- ➤ City leaders and Travel Dubuque announced the RAGBRAI route which will enter the city on Friday, July 25 (via Old Highway Road, Dubuque Industrial Park West, downtown streets, and ending at A.Y. McDonald Park). The event is expected to boost the local economy by nearly $2 million. Radio Dubuque

- ➤ Back Waters Amp, the new amphitheater on Chaplain Schmitt Island, will host its first performers in July. Officials said the community owned venue next to Q Casino + Resort seats up to 8,000 guests and will feature touring artists and regional talent, with the line-up to be announced soon. Radio Dubuque
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The City lifted the boil water advisory for southern Dubuque — issued Sunday, Mar. 22 due to a water main break and temporary shut down — after two tests showed no bacteria, and customers may resume normal water use while running water if it remains cloudy. Radio Dubuque

- ➤ Bunker Hill Golf Course is now open for the 2026 season at 2200 Bunker Hill Rd. The 18-hole course offers online or phone booking at 563-589-4261, leagues, and lessons with PGA pro Nick Stroschein until June 13th. WJOD
