- ➤ Crews are busy at Comiskey Park this week removing old basketball and tennis courts as Phase 2 of the Re-Imagine Comiskey project begins. New basketball courts, shaded picnic areas and paved walkways will improve the park by the end of September. KWWL

- ➤ Nearly 100 Dubuque fifth graders attended a Trades Day event sponsored by the Dubuque Black Men Coalition, exploring electrical work, manufacturing and welding. Student Lilly White said the experience broadened her outlook while RB Electric owner Richard Biechler emphasized a strong local need for skilled trades. KCRG
