Good morning, Dubuque.

Dubuque families can plan for a fun Easter season with several local events; Kennedy Mall’s Eggs in the Mall kicks off on Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m., featuring candy-filled egg hunts, while Steve’s Ace, Dubuque Arboretum, and Hy-Vee host additional hunts for children + photo opportunities.

Restaurants across Eastern Iowa are hosting Easter brunch on April 5, offering buffet options and special menus.

In Dubuque, Caroline’s Restaurant (Hotel Julien), Convivium Urban Farmstead, and River Rock Kitchen and Tap provide seating and reservation details for local diners.

A Des Moines Register survey shows Iowa farmland values rose 1.3% over the past six months despite a tough agricultural economy + high-quality tillable land now sells for over $13,000 per acre.
