  • Brian Howes, the principal at Dubuque Senior, has been chosen as the district's next executive director of secondary education pending board approval. He will oversee middle & high school programs after the current school year ends, replacing retiring Mark Burns.  WJOD

  • A poll commissioned by Food & Water Action found that 72% of Iowa voters considered rising cancer rates and 58% flagged water quality as major concerns, while 82% indicated support for candidates who will prioritize water regulation.  The Gazette
