- ➤ Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean — an Iowa native — is reportedly dating WWE star Nikki Bella after they met at summer training camp when Bella attended several games, with sources noting the pair has been seen on fun dates recently. WJOD
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Iowa Board of Education approved a new charter high school for the Sumner-Fredericksburg School District, set to open next school year. Future Frontiers will offer academic classes and require five internships a year for about 30 students. KCRG
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Commercial flights ceased on Thursday as Denver Air Connection ended its daily Chicago route following a December 15 council vote that set the termination for January 15 (funding was exhausted).
