- ➤ United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States has opened a new round of grant applications to help local organizations address growing poverty as funding remains limited. Groups must submit applications by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13 (after a previous cycle awarded about $850,000 in 35 grants). KCRG
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ UnityPoint Clinic Urology in Dubuque announced a partnership with Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa P.C. to expand urology care at its clinic (1500 Delhi St. Suite 4300 inside the Delhi Medical Center attached to UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital). The collaboration, starting this month, brings board-certified urologists and advanced practice provider Grace Adam to serve patients Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KCRG
- ➤ Flu cases have surged in Dubuque as local hospitals see more patients in the past two weeks. Health officials urge residents to stay home when sick (and get vaccinated) to protect vulnerable groups. WJOD
